How long does dermal filler last?
It totally depends which product is being used. In general, dermal fillers can last 6-12 months or more.
What areas can be treated with filler?
There are many areas that can be treated with filler to restore volume and hydrate. Some of the most common areas include lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and under the eyes. There are other areas that can be treated and some are higher risk than others. Careful assessment by a qualified health professional is needed.
Do dermal filler injections hurt?
Dermal filler injections can be uncomfortable. You will be numbed before the procedure (usually with a topical numbing cream). There are also other techniques we use to minimize discomfort during the procedure including distraction with vibration and using thin ultra sharp syringes.
How long does it take to get filler injected?
In general about 1 hour depending what area / how many areas you are having injected. This includes reviewing paperwork and consent forms, 15-20 minutes of numbing time, as well as photos. The actual injecting is generally less than 20 minutes.
