Next Generation PRP
PRFM has been around for decades. Its’ use started in orthopedics where it was used in joints to help repair damaged cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and even bone tissue.
Over time, it was found to have efficacy for hair restoration and skin rejuvenation as well as other specialized treatments like for vaginal rejuvenation.
The platelets extracted release growth factors which are wound healers. These growth factors replicate cells and vasculature which helps bring blood flow and oxygenation to tissues. It also leads to: 1- Stem cell migration 2- New fibroblasts & keratinocytes 3- New collagen & elastin production.
PRFM involves the collection of your blood which is then spun down using a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red/white blood cells. The PRFM is then injected into the treatment area using different techniques depending on the desired results. The product injected is 100% your own blood (autologous).
